Andrei Vazhnov is a Professor at the Center of Innovation and Entrepreneurship at ORT University in Montevideo. He is the author of the book about Internet of Things and the connected economy “La Red de Todo: Internet de las Cosas y el Futuro de la Economía Conectada”. He is also the author of the first book on 3D printing in the Spanish language “Impresión 3D: Cómo va a cambiar el mundo”.
Andrei was a speaker on the topics of Industrial IoT, 3D Printing, innovation, and the impact of digital technologies at many public and industry events including TEDxRioDeLaPlata, Endeavor, Wunderman, Inauguration of the 3M Innovation Center, SAP CIO Summit, among many others. He has a Master of Public Policy degree from Harvard University and a diploma in Physics from the Novosibirsk University.
